Appearance: A brilliant ruby-raspberry colour.

Nose: The bouquet bursts with blackcurrant buds, fresh black fruits and liquorice.

Palate: The palate is lined with fat and peppery flavours. With its smooth, warm tannins, it is present, melted and intense.

Ageing: 12/14 months in French oak barrel (228 l fine-grain medium toast) and 2/3 months in stainless steel tank before bottling.

Pairing: Its direct profile makes it an outstanding companions for savory, earthy, and slightly gamey dishes.
