• Region: Hailing from the Givry appellation, a Village appellation within the Côte Chalonnaise region of Burgundy, France. The vineyards span the communes of Givry, Dracy-le-Fort, and Jambles, where vines thrive in chalky-clay soils on south and southeast-facing slopes at altitudes between 240 and 280 meters.
• Pairing: To accompany dishes such as cold cuts, couscous, tajine, red meats and desserts with red fruit or chocolate. For family occasions we typically serve it alongside a Black Forest gateau with cherries.
