Appearance: Ruby-red colour.

Nose: This Santenay is reminiscent of raspberries, strawberries and cherries, a crunchy fruit.

Palate: On the palate, a full-bodied wine, rich in body and fruit. Lovely, fleshy roundness. In a word, delicious.

Ageing: 12/14 months in French oak barrel (228 l fine-grain medium toast) and 2/3 months in stainless steel tank before bottling.

Pairing: It pairs beautifully with intensely flavored dishes that require a bit more substance from the wine.
