Orma is located on the Bolgherese Provincial Road, a Wine Road, just a short distance from the most historic vineyards in the area. It’s in the heart of the Bolgheri DOC appellation, with Ornellaia to the right and Sassicaia to the left. Orma is the name of the first wine produced by the estate of the same name. It is made from 50% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 20% Cabernet Franc and has been recognized nationally and internationally since its very first vintage in 2005. Appearance: Dark, deep ruby color with distinct garnet reflections.
Nose: Intense layers of blackberry, cassis, tobacco leaf, cocoa, dry earth, and Mediterranean herbs.
Palate: Dense and plush with a velvety texture, balanced by bright acidity and firm, well-integrated tannins.
Ageing: Matured for 14 months in French oak barriques, followed by an additional 12 months of refinement in the bottle.
Pairing: Full flavoured meats, game and roasts.
